Example recording for wrong ball in intermediate frames

Apparently the intermediate frames calculate a different ball route on the entry to the tunnel, which is corrected with the next real frame, I guess.

Why no shot recoil in fxi?

Just noticed that it is not present. Not that I urgently need it, but why was it removed?
I sometimes used the shot-recoil to exactly stop my ship (in practice). No need to swap to a lower power
setting then.

The default spark colors (yellow and red) interfere too much with important game objects. They make it more difficult to see things like enemies on the HUD radar (red) and yellow is too bright, obstructing the view of shots (white) and HUD information (green). Ok, thanks. Not sure if I can contact him though. I would also accept second hand explanations
from anyone who understands how dirPrediction works. Still haven't looked into the relevant code

Testing the clients with the default config is always a horror for me. I can't do any successful play with the default keys. How about discussing our working (key) setups, so that we perhaps come up with defaults which suit more players. It will not be possible to satisfy everyone, but the defaults ...

Why were global.c/global.h implemented?

These files do not exist in ng-4.7.2. In the bloodspilot clients package they contain many
declarations and definitions of variables which are also declared/defined in other files.
This is probably very unclean. Is it nessesary to have these files?

Who implemented dirPrediction?

I would like to have a first hand explanation of how dirPrediction works.
This should help to debug the jumping/jerky ship turning which I often encounter.
