Problem sending attachments (solved)

Post by Angeba »

Currently it seems to be impossible to send attachments to this forum.
Upon sending one (via the `Preview' button), the board replies:

`Temporary folder could not be found. Please check your PHP installation.'

Thanks for looking after this.

Thanks for noticing the problem. Indeed, I've done some changes in PHP configuration recently. Should be working now.

Yes, it's working again.

What still is a bit annoying, is that the forum classifies attachments by their filename extension.
So an old map file named `old.map' is not accepted, but after renaming it to `old.xp'
it is. I don't know if there is some (easy) way to improve this.

Without examining the content, not really. But why would you want to change the extension, instead of adding some version string at the end of the map name? E.g. bloods-5.0.xp.

As for the .map extension, it is a bit confusing, because it doesn't tell which format it is. I think it is a good idea to rename to xp or xp2.
